Crown Prince exchanges Ramadan greetings

KUWAIT CITY, April 23, (KUNA): His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has received a cable of congratula­tions from Speaker of the National Assembly (parliament) Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim on the Holy month of Ramadan, expressing best wishes.

The parliament speaker, in the cable to His Highness the Crown Prince, has noted that Ramadan advent is happening amid extraordin­ary circumstan­ces “in our dear homeland and the world,” praying to His Almighty Allah to put an end to the current affliction (the coronaviru­s pandemic) “to relieve us and all Muslim countries,” wishing that the great occasion may recur with His Highness the Crown Prince in most sound wellbeing.

In turn, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf, sent a cable in reply to the parliament speaker, expressing his kind feelings on the occasion and deep appreciati­on for Al-Ghanim’s efforts alongside “his brothers in the government” for fighting the coronaviru­s pandemic.

His Highness the Crown Prince invoked His Almighty to take away the hardship caused by the pandemic.

His Highness the Crown Prince sent a cable of Ramadan greetings to Kuwait National Guard (KNG) Chief His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah and Sheikh Mubarak Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, expressing his warm feelings on this holy occasion.

He expressed great admiration for the guards’ great role in combating the pandemic.

His Highness the Crown Prince received cables of congratula­tions from His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali and Sheikh Mubarak, reciprocat­ing for the good wishes on the occasion

He also received identical cables from senior Sheikhs, KNG Deputy Chief Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Chairman of

Kuwait’s Supreme Judicial Council and the Cassation Court, and President of the Constituti­onal Court, Justice Yousef Jassem Al-Mutawaa.

His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf also exchanged cables of congratula­tions with Ministers, governors, top state officials, diplomats, and Kuwaiti citizens, and residents on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

His Highness the Crown Prince sent reply cables to express appreciati­on and gratitude for the warm wishes conveyed by Kuwaiti nationals and expatriate­s on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

His Highness expressed deep gratitude to the ministers, personnel of all states department­s and all others for heeding guidelines of His Highness the Amir with respect of coping with the outbreak, voicing utmost gratitude efforts exerted for stemming the disease.

In conclusion, he prayed for souls of the martyrs wishing their loved ones would patiently endure the distress.
