‘Work on curricula for second semester in final stages’
PAM launches special system to respond to all inquiries
KUWAIT CITY, May 6: Work on the curricula for the second semester of the academic year is now in its final stages in preparation for the resumption of classes in August for Grade 12 students and in October for the rest of the students for a period of six weeks, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources who disclosed the curricula will be abridged because only the basic lessons will remain.
Sources revealed the Technical Directions Department in the Ministry of Education is revising the curricula to ensure all useful lessons are presented to the students in a concise manner. Sources affirmed these lessons are the same as those to be presented on educational platforms after Eid Al-Fitr.
Sources added the students and parents should follow up developments on e-learning through these platforms, which will provide a summary of lessons with questions that will be included in the second semester examinations. They confirmed that the ministry is keen on continuing the educational process, while putting the interest of students on top of all considerations.
Meanwhile, the Director of Public Relations Department at the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) Aseel Al-Mazied told the Al-Anba daily that PAM has launched a special system to respond to all inquiries from people and companies, given the exceptional circumstances as a result of the spread of the coronavirus epidemic and the large number of inquiries that PAM received every day, reports the daily.
