The former minister of education and higher education, the former deputy, and lawyer, Dr Ahmed Al-Mulaifi, has emphasized that health and education are two sides of the same coin, reports Al-Anba daily.

Dr Al-Mulaifi during an exclusive interview with Al-Anba gave in detail his opinion on the distance education system, supporting its implementation, decision-making, and the formation of legal, technical, educational, and media teams in this regard.

He also presented his views on the implementation of the distance education system in schools and universities, stressing that distance learning does not need new laws but merely amending some regulations and decisions, noting that the Ministry of Education did not take precaution nor put the worst scenarios to the crisis and is working on it from the start to find an alternative, because the matter may be prolonged and the study stopped, which means the corunavirus has defeated us.
