PAHW ponders distributing 300 flats in its skyscraper complex

-

KUWAIT CITY, May 7: The Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) is currently studying the distribution of 300 apartments in its skyscraper housing complex in Sabah AlAhmad Residential City, which is divided into 60 buildings, reports Al-Anba daily.

The complex consists of 20 buildings that will be under one contract and 40 under another contract for the housing of female citizens as per the regulations, which are based on the Women Housing Care Law. The law covers divorced and unmarried Kuwaiti women, those married to non-Kuwaitis and widows within the scope of housing care in the form of rent. This is according to the specified rent value for this type of housing -- KD50 only. The relevant procedures are carried out at the Rented Housing Department in the authority.

It is worth mentioning that the authority specified the construction of 2,053 apartments within the plan and design of Sabah Al-Ahmad Residential City for applicants wishing to get skyscraper housing units allocated for the abovementioned categories.

In a special statement to the daily, Al-Hajri confirmed no social aid file has been suspended due to the failure of beneficiaries to update their data since March.
