Deputy Amir exchanges Eid greetings with sheikhs, senior officials

KUWAIT CITY, July 30, (KUNA): His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad AlJaber Al-Sabah on Thursday received a congratula­tory message from National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim on the advent of Eid Al-Adha.

In the message, Al-Ghanim, expressed on behalf of himself and lawmakers, his most sincere congratula­tions and best wishes, asking the Almighty to usher in blessings on the nation and the Muslim world.

He also prayed that His Highness enjoys long life, good health and prosperity and for His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the humanitari­an leader, to return home safe with His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince, his support, as they both lead the nation through growth and prosperity.

In a response letter, His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince expressed his gratitude, congratula­ting him in turn on the advent of the occasion.

Furthermor­e, His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince sent a congratula­tory cable to Head of the Kuwait National Guard His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah on the occasion.

Within the message, he prayed for an end to the coronaviru­s pandemic and expressed his most sincere pride and appreciati­on for the huge role and strenuous efforts exerted by the National Guard in confrontin­g the pandemic.

In his response, His Highness Sheikh Salem exchanged congratula­tions, praying for His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince’s health and wellbeing, and the nation’s growth and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir.

His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince also sent a congratula­tory cable to Sheikh Mubarak Al-Abdallah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on the occasion.

In his response, Sheikh Mubarak exchanged congratula­tions, praying for His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince’s health and well-being, and the nation’s growth and prosperity.

His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince also received congratula­tory cables from senior sheikhs, the Kuwait National Guard Deputy Head Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council and Court of Cassation Chief Justice Yousef Al-Mutaawaa.

His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince also received congratula­tory cables from ministers, governors, senior officials, diplomatic corps members, nationals and residents as well individual­s overseas.

He went on to praise the relentless efforts of ministers, who he said “spared no effort and did not hesitate to fulfill their duty towards their homeland” amid the coronaviru­s pandemic.

He applauded the efforts of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Kuwait National Guard, Ministry of Commerce and all government agencies and institutio­ns for their “cooperatio­n and constructi­ve measures” aimed at confrontin­g the impacts of the pandemic under the directions of His Highness the Amir.

He also prayed for the Almighty to lift this scourge from the nation and protect its people and the whole world from its harm and misfortune.

His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince also sent congratula­tory cables, including his thanks and appreciati­on and good wishes to all, praying for God Almighty to bless the nation and its people on the occasion, keeping the country and Arab and Islamic nations safe, secure and stable.

His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince also, on Thursday, exchanged cables of congratula­tion with the leaders and heads of state of Arab and Muslin nations on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.

He extended the greetings and congratula­tions of His Highness the Amir on this occasion and that the occasion may bestow upon them blessings, health and well-being.
