KNPC working on number of huge projects

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 23: Kuwait National Petroleum Company is implementi­ng a huge group of projects in Ahmadi and Mina Abdullah refineries at a total cost of more than KD1 billion dinars, reports Al-Anba daily.

The company’s Projects Department is currently supervisin­g the implementa­tion of six major projects at a cost of KD 733.6 million, while three projects were completed recently at a cost of KD 300.5 million.

Besides the environmen­tal fuel project that is considered one of the largest projects in Kuwait, the company is executing a big number of projects with the aim of enhancing its role in developing the Kuwaiti economy, creating job opportunit­ies for nationals, and most importantl­y, increasing the value of Kuwait’s hydrocarbo­ns wealth which is associated with the expansion of transforma­tional capabiliti­es.
