Ministry omits names of high school students

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 26: In what observers describe as “new failure” of the Ministry of Education toward Al-Nour School for the Blind after the names of the high school students were omitted in the announceme­nt, Chairperso­n of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Blind Associatio­n Fayez Al-Azmi revealed that Special Education Department of the Ministry of Education is confused in dealing with the school and its teachers who are overlooked when it comes to seating for supervisor­y job exams, reports Al-Rai daily.

In a statement to the daily, Al-Azmi said it continues the approach of confusion and indifferen­ce the Special Education Department at the Ministry of Education adopts toward people with various disabiliti­es, especially those of the blind, and upon announcing the names of the top students of Al-Nour School in the ministry’s website, they later got omitted.
