Incoming rush causing traffic chaos at border

-

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 26: Nuwaiseeb border witnessed traffic congestion in the last two days, particularly on the side of travelers coming to the country, due to the implementation of health procedures such as the coronavirus testing before entering the country, reports Al-Qabas daily.

A number of citizens expressed dissatisfaction because they had to wait for long hours before they could enter the country, not to mention the small number of Health Ministry employees specialized in corona swab testing.

Sources disclosed the number of arrivals is huge — more than 1,000 vehicles per day; thereby, causing traffic congestion and confusion at work. This necessitates radical solutions through the coordinated efforts of the health and interior ministries, sources pointed out.

Informed sources from the Ministry of Health unveiled a plan to increase the number of doctors and nurses assigned in the medical clinic at the border to facilitate procedures for citizens entering the country.
