Remarkable deal: In the month of August, Kuwait’s real estate market witnessed a remarkable real estate deal that was concluded to sell a land of an area of 7,700 square meters owned by a major Kuwaiti family in Bneid Al-Gar area to a company that owns a longstandi­ng private hospital located in Hawally area, reports Al-Anba daily.

According to real estate sources, the total value of the deal amounted to about KD 18 million, with the average price per square meter reaching approximat­ely KD 2,300.

The aim of the buying party is to prepare for long-term expansion of their services, enabling it to develop the level of medical services that it currently provides in its existing hospital in Hawally area. It has been decided that the company will prepare for the constructi­on of a large private hospital in the region so that it can conduct major operations and provide new medical services, some of which are currently not available in the private sector.

❑ ‘Staff doing best’: Ministry of Foreign Affairs represente­d by the Consular Administra­tion affirmed that its staff are doing their utmost to complete all pending transactio­ns related to consulate affairs on a daily basis, and backlog caused by the coronaviru­s crisis that paralyzed most of its services locally and globally, reports Al-Qabas daily.

This came in reaction to the news item published by the newspaper in relation to complaints filed by clients concerning the delay of their transactio­ns and backlog caused by the crisis, which encouraged the emergence of “middlemen” offering to facilitate transactio­ns and raising fears about forgeries.

The ministry in a statement said the consular administra­tion has taken the initiative to expand its scope of work by opening other reception centers in (Shuwaikh — Liberation Tower — Subhan Center) respective­ly to deal with the dilemma and to facilitate the needs of the public in completing their transactio­ns.

The ministry added that the consular administra­tion has extended the working hours within the controls and requiremen­ts set by the country’s health authoritie­s to preserve the health of clients and employees.

Statement called for the need to cooperate with the administra­tion to receive the best and fastest services amid determinat­ion and eagerness to continue implementi­ng all procedures in this regard.
