Yemen head congratulates HH Amir
KUWAIT CITY, Oct 12, (KUNA): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a cable of congratulations from Yemeni President AbdRabbuh Mansur
Hadi, in which he congratulated him on the occasion of assuming power, wishing His Highness the Amir continuing success.
His Highness the Amir sent a cable back, in which he thanked and appreciated the positive message, lauding close ties between Kuwait and Yemen and wishing the president good health and welfare.
Nicaragua
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a cable of congratulations from Nicaragua’s President Daniel Ortega Saavedra and Vice-President Rosario Murillo, in which they congratulated His Highness on the occasion of assuming power.
Also in the cable, they congratulated His Highness’s choosing of His Highness Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad AlJaber Al-Sabah as the Crown Prince, as Nicaragua is eager to continue strengthening ties with the State of Kuwait in various fields.
In reply, His Highness the Amir expressed appreciation for the message, embracing close ties between Kuwait and Nicaragua, wishing both the president and vice-president good health, as well as continued progress and prosperity for their country.
Malta
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Monday a cable of congratulations from Malta’s President George Vella, in which he congratulated His Highness on assuming power.
President Vella also hoped for strengthening ties between the two countries.
His Highness the Amir sent a cable back, in which he thanked and appreciated the heartfelt sentiments.
Ecuador
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a cable of congratulations from Ecuador’s President Lenin Moreno, in which he congratulated him on assuming power.
His Highness the Amir, in a reply, appreciated the heartfelt sentiments, embracing close ties between the two friendly countries and wishing the President good health, as well as progress and prosperity for the people of Ecuador.
Tatarstan
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was congratulated on his assumption of power in a cable from Tatarstan’s President Rustam Minnikhanov on Wednesday.
The president also wished His Highness the Amir success in his new role.
His Highness the Amir, in response, expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the warm sentiments.
Kazakhstan
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was congratulated on his assumption of power in a cable from Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on Wednesday.
The president also wished His Highness the Amir success in his new role.
His Highness the Amir, in response, expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the warm sentiments.
Iraq’s Islamic Dawa Party
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a condolences cable on Wednesday from Iraq’s Islamic Dawa Party General Secretary Nouri Al-Maliki over the passing of His Highness the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Al-Maliki extended his heartfelt condolences and commiserations to His Highness the Amir and the Kuwaiti people, praising the late Amir’s contributions to rebuilding the fraternal relations between both countries.
