Forming actual teams in educational zones recommended
Kuwait’s Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah met Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Kuwait Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khaled bin Mohammad Al-Saud on Thursday during which a number of aspects pertaining to bilateral relations were discussed.
Additionally, the two officials discussed developments on the situations of regional and international spectrum. The meeting was attended by Kuwait’s Assistant Foreign Minister for the Office of the Deputy Minister Ayham Al-Omar. (KUNA)
KUWAIT CITY, Jan 21: The joint committee of Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health held a meeting, which was headed by the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Ali Al-Mudhaf, to discuss the proposal for the gradual return of school during the second semester of the 2020/2021 academic year, reports AlQabas daily.
Dr Al-Mudhaf said the Ministry of Education is working on taking appropriate decisions regarding the gradual return of school plan, in addition to its endeavor to launch a comprehensive vaccination campaign at the beginning of the second semester.

He indicated that the priorities and decisions of the Cabinet that are in the interest of the educational process will be agreed upon.
Meanwhile, the acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Development and Activities Faisal Al-Maqsid said, “The meeting is the first of its kind in terms of coordination between the two ministries to discuss the issue of gradual return of schools in the second semester.
The return plan and the required health requirements were studied in the event that it was implemented gradually or continued in the distance education process.
It was recommended to form actual teams in the educational zones to coordinate with the health zones by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health, research on and study the healthy school environment on the ground”.
He revealed about another meeting to be held next week to study matters in detail.
