‘Leadership main pillar in nations renaissance’
KUWAIT CITY, July 18: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Hamad Al-Ali affirmed qualification for higher position “was and still is the main pillar and cornerstone in the progress and renaissance of nations, facing challenges and overcoming them, and controlling and managing crises, by assigning vital tasks to competent leaders who possess an insight and determination, whose abilities do not stand in the way of an obstacle, and their continued success does not limit them to reach higher grounds, who seek to achieve aspirations, make efforts and sacrifices, in the service of their country, fulfillment of their oath, sincerity in performing their duties, and shouldering their responsibilities, reports Al-Seyassah.
Speech
This came in his speech at the graduation ceremony of the 25th Joint Command and Staff recently at the Mubarak Al-Abdullah College of Command and Joint Staff comprising 85 students including 26 from 13 countries.
Al-Jaber added, “We are happy to sponsor and attend the graduation ceremony of the 25th session of the Joint Command and Staff, with feelings full of pride, and with hearts filled with joy and pleasure, and the hopes of a new constellation of commanding officers. We welcome the active and distinguished participation of the officers of the Ministry of Interior and the National Guard, and dear guests -- officers from brotherly and friendly countries.
“Their participation reflects the depth of relations and military cooperation between the Ministry of Defense and its counterparts in those countries.”

He went to say, “I congratulate the employees of the Mubarak Al-Abdullah College of Joint Command and Staff, for their distinguished and unique academic achievement.”
For his part, the Deputy Commander of Mubarak Al-Abdullah College, Brigadier General Pilot Faisal Al-Shimmari, said, “The global context in our time is described by acceleration, technological development, artificial intelligence, the race to control space, dependence on unconventional wars, and the emergence of deadly epidemics, as these challenges coincide with charged political tensions in the regional and global environment, so that these data are reflected on the military academic institutions and constitute a major challenge for how to confront these dangers.”
