Kuwait embassy in Morocco implements sacrifice project
RABAT, July 18, (KUNA): The Embassy of the State of Kuwait to the Kingdom of Morocco announced on Sunday the implementation of the sacrifice distribution project submitted by the General Secretariat of Awqaf, as Kuwaiti hands of goodness extends to a number of charitable societies and families of orphans and widows in the cities of Rabat, Marrakesh, Fez, Quneitra and Chaouen and Sale.
The project in Morocco is one of the seasonal projects implemented by Kuwait in the brotherly country, as it reflects the depth and distinction of relations between the two brotherly countries and translates the tolerant Islamic teachings and the principle of social solidarity.
Distributing
The process of distributing the sacrifices included thousands of families from different parts of the Kingdom in cooperation with charities and concerned centers in Moroccan cities, including the Basma Association for Work and Social Solidarity (Sale), the Solidarity Foundation for the Blind (Rabat), the Association for Social and Cultural Work (Rabat), the White Hands Association (Marrakesh), the Association of White Hands (Marrakesh), the Social Solidarity Initiative (Quneitra), the Nour Al-Sadaqa Caravan Association for Social Development (Fez), the Nour Association for Social Works and Welfare of the Blind (Rabat), and the Rehabilitation Association (Al-Shawon).
The sacrifice project is among the charitable and humanitarian projects and initiatives offered by Kuwaiti charitable institutions, bodies and associations, and its implementation is supervised by the embassy in many from the regions.
