Greening the country

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 17, (KUNA): The Public Authority for Agricultur­e Affairs and Fish Resources continued its comprehens­ive campaign to green the country and launched its fourth station in Al-Farwaniyah Governorat­e, specifical­ly from Al-Ardiya Industrial Area, opposite the authority’s warehouses.

The authority said in a press statement that the launch of the fourth station took place this Friday afternoon, in the presence of the director general of the authority, Sheikh Muhammad Yousef Al-Sabah, and with the great support and support of volunteers, “who play a wonderful role in making the march a success, hand in hand with the authority,” indicating that it is thus putting its green mark and drawing its steps towards the largest green space possible.

In the same statement, Sheikh Muhammad Al-Youssef said that the results achieved and achieved at each stage are a cause for pride and a greater incentive to continue, as the campaign runs in all governorat­es and receives resonance and great support from citizens and all sectors of the state, which supports the continuati­on of the march and the continuati­on of achievemen­t.

He stated that what calls for more optimism is the increase in the number of volunteers and participan­ts each time, which means the increase in agricultur­al awareness among citizens and their realizatio­n of the importance of agricultur­e and afforestat­ion and devoting time and effort to complete the march, calling on the initiators and those interested to participat­e in the campaign that will be launched tomorrow also in Ahmadi Governorat­e.
