KRCS shares its ‘humanitarian’ experience in Expo 2020 Dubai
DUBAI, Oct 17, (KUNA): Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) shared its humanitarian and relief aid experiences worldwide during its participation in the Expo 2020 Dubai.
Our contribution in this international event is of a great opportunity to communicate with people of the world, KRCS Director General Abdulrahman Al-Oun said in remarks to KUNA Sunday on the sideline of the event. He added that KRCS was keen on reflecting Kuwait’s positive image through its projects all over the globe, under the guidance of the wise leadership of Kuwait, and the distinguished contribution of its youth.
KRCS, established in 1965, received great appreciation by the Expo visitors for its charitable activities locally and abroad.
Meanwhile, Palestinian Charitable Organization for Development and Relief declared Sunday delivering a house to a Palestinian family in need supported and financed by Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, located in Kuwait. The handing-over ceremony kicked off with lifting the curtain from a commemorative portrait of the project. The house is comprised of two floors and is lived in by three Palestinian families in the central governorate.
The ceremony was held with the presence of the head of the organization Musab Tanboura and a number of notable figures in Gaza.
Tanboura thanked God first and the organization second for answering the call of people in need of help, by overseeing and financing the house, he said in a press statement
He also affirmed that the Arab Fund in Kuwait continuously finances charity projects, overcoming geographical barriers and reaching the Palestinian people.
