Also, Director General for Standardization and Industrial Services in the Public Authority for Industry (PAI) Engr Muhammad Eid Al-Adwani has been assigned to carry out the duties of former Director General Abdul Karim Taqi who was referred for retirement, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting sources.

Sources revealed Taqi had earlier received a notice on relieving him of his duties, but he refused to do so; hence, he was referred for retirement.
