PIC issues update on annual plan for supply and services contracts
KUWAIT CITY, Oct 18: The Petrochemical Industries Company has issued an update on the annual plan for supply, contracting and services contracts from October to March 2023, reports Al-Anba daily.
The annual plan states that the Petrochemical Industries Company intends to issue 26 contracts during the mentioned period, including a large number of businesses and projects.
The daily added, the company intends to offer a contract for the development and automation of the company’s financial systems, and another contract for the development and provision of technical support for the contractor’s labor data management system.
The company also intends to offer a contract for the electronic signature system for contracts and documents, to carry out cleaning works in the company’s offices and its annexes, and to carry out preventive maintenance work for medium-voltage motors during operation and stoppage.
Regarding the supply plan, the data showed that the “chemical industry” intends to ask contractors to supply 120,000 wooden pallets for the polypropylene factory, and to supply rolls for polypropylene product packaging bags, as well as to supply chemicals that improve the specifications of the polypropylene product called primary and secondary oxidation inhibitor.
The industry intends to update the process safety management system based on the current global systems, issue new work procedures, train those appointed to apply them, and provide technical support in the process of improving the final product while studying and submitting the required recommendations to maintain the efficiency of the production line.
The company also intends to appoint a consultant to study the investment opportunity from a technical and commercial point of view, and to purchase the right to access information related to a technical and marketing study.
