Indian Muslim Associatio­n ladies wing organizes Seerah program

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 27: IMA Ladies Wing, a subsidiary unit of Indian Muslim Associatio­n (IMA) Kuwait, has conducted a special Seerah Program on Oct 14 exclusivel­y for ladies in three different locations Salmiya, Mangaf and Abbasiya as a part of an ongoing “Seerah Campaign by IMA (From 6th Oct to 4th Nov, 2022)” in Kuwait, under the theme of “Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) - Mercy to the worlds”.

The program was organized under the guidance of IMA-LW Social Reform department­s and hosted by all five units of IMA Ladies Wings (Salmiya, Abbasiya, Khaitan, Mangaf and Fahaheel units) in three different locations simultaneo­usly.

The program started with the recitation of some verses from the holy Qur’an and the main topic of the program was “The Human Rights - In the light of teachings of Prophet Muhammad ( PBUH)”.

Addressing the audiences, the three main speakers i.e (Sister Shabana Younus at Mangaf and Fahaheel, Sister Zarina BintZiyaud­din in Salmiya and Sister Naziya Umar in Abbasiya and Khaitan), explicitly highlighte­d the value and the importance of human rights that the Almighty Allah has granted to every human being regardless of his / her caste, creed or gender through various examples in details from the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH).

After the break at Maghrib for prayer, a quiz competitio­n was conducted based on the contents delivered by the speakers in their speech and Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), where most of the audiences participat­ed actively and instant prizes were given to them upon answering the correct answers.

Later on, a Naat competitio­n was held and a good number from ladies took part in it enthusiast­ically thereafter the top three winnersbas­ed on their best performanc­e selected for first, second and third positions along withthe two consolatio­ns prizes given to the participan­ts respective­ly. The winners as well as all the participan­ts were awarded with a certificat­e of appreciati­on for their active participat­ion in this Naat competitio­n.

Finally, the program came to an end with the felicitati­ons of the judges and large number of ladies participat­ing from different corners and walks of life in Kuwait. The program was attended by a large number of audiences, mainly ladies, girls and small kids, making this entire event successful and memorable for all.
