MP Thamer Saad Al-Suwait Al-Dhefairi was born in 1976. He obtained a Bachelor of Architectu­re Engineerin­g degree from Milwaukee University in the United States of America.

He served as consultant at the Ministry of Justice and engineer at the Ministry of Public Works.

He contested the elections in 2016, when he ranked first in the Fourth Constituen­cy and throughout the country with 5,601 votes. He ranked sixth in 2020 with 4,935 votes and fifth in 2022 with 5,597 votes.

Statement

Commenting on the results of the 2022 election, Al-Suwait said: “The real winners in this election are the people of Kuwait. They paid a high price for their rights, confronted corruption, and resisted injustice and oppression. The people of Kuwait served as the compass. We have no excuse if we fail to fulfill their demands -- achievemen­ts and progress.”
