MP Faisal Muhammad Al-Kandari

MP Faisal Muhammad AlKandari, who was born in 1970, holds Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
He served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the National Real Estate Company.
Al-Kandari lost his first parliamentary election bid in 2008; when he ranked 12th in the Fifth Constituency with 10,071 votes. He also lost in the electoral race in 2009 and February 2012 as he ranked 14th in 2009 with 9,962 votes and 12th in February 12 with 8,177 votes. His losing streak ended in December 2012 when he took the first spot in his constituency with 3,570 votes. However, the Constitutional Court declared this legislature null and void. He emerged victorious in 2013; ranking third with 2,977 as well as in 2016 when he ranked fifth with 4,114 votes. He lost in 2020 when he ranked 13th with 4,292 votes. In 2022, he returned to the National Assembly as he ranked 10th in the constituency with 4,530 votes.

Al-Kandari pointed out that the country keeps billions of Kuwaiti dinars in foreign banks. He said this huge amount should have been utilized for investment, especially inside the country. He then stressed the need for Kuwait to study the experience of neighboring countries in the investment field.
