Work jointly for nation’s security, stability: Sheikh Fahad
KUWAIT CITY, March 10: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, highlighted the paramount importance of maintaining peak readiness, vigilance, and preparedness among personnel within the Ministries of Defense and Interior, reports Al-Qabas daily.
According to reports, he stressed the necessity of ongoing cooperation and coordination between military sectors to safeguard the nation’s security and stability.
Sheikh Fahd Al-Sabah made these remarks during his inspection tour of key sites along Kuwait’s northern border, including Bubiyan, Warba, and Muskan Islands, as well as the naval platform “Faner Boubyan” of the Kuwaiti Naval Force, Mubarak Port, and border security points managed by the Ministries of Defense and Interior.
Accompanied by high-ranking military officials, his visit aimed to assess and reinforce Kuwait’s defense capabilities.
During his tour, Sheikh Fahd conveyed greetings and appreciation from Kuwaiti leadership to the personnel of the Ministries of Defense and Interior, commending their dedication and sincerity in serving the nation. He emphasized their heroic contributions to upholding Kuwait’s security, stability, and territorial integrity.
Interacting with commanders at the military sites, Sheikh Fahd Al-Sabah received detailed briefings on their units’ tasks and duties.
He was briefed on the high level of preparedness and readiness demonstrated by personnel, as well as the depth of military coordination and cooperation between the Ministries of Defense and Interior. This collaborative effort encompasses executing common tasks, duties, and joint exercises aimed at enhancing national security.
