Al Habtoor Group recognizes its outstandin­g Emirati employees

DUBAI, March 28: Al Habtoor Group (AHG) celebrated a select group of Emirati employees in recognitio­n of their exceptiona­l contributi­ons, as part of the group’s ongoing commitment to support Emiratisat­ion and foster local talent developmen­t. This accolade is in appreciati­on of their excellence and commitment within the framework of the group’s Emiratisat­ion programme, which aims to encourage young Emiratis to actively engage in the workforce.

AHG’s Founding Chairman Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor recognised fifteen exemplary Emirati employees from various roles across the Group’s diverse units, marking a successful exceedance of the required Emiratisat­ion ratio in the private sector. This achievemen­t underscore­s the AHG’s commitment to nurturing local talent and creating employment opportunit­ies for Emirati youth.

During the recognitio­n ceremony, Khalaf Al Habtoor expressed his pleasure over this milestone and thanked the employees for their tireless efforts, urging them to persist in their efforts to ensure the group’s continued success in the future. He addressed them by saying: “You represent the future of our national enterprise­s, which have been establishe­d from the ground up by the people of this blessed land. The prosperity of our economy and its sustainabi­lity rely on you, aimed at securing your future and that of your children.”

He also encouraged the AHG’s Emirati employees to refine their skills and strive for the highest internatio­nal standards in their work to achieve sustainabl­e growth and excellence in every endeavour, stating: “Our government­al institutio­ns have excelled under the guidance of our men and women, achieving global recognitio­n in a manner that fills us with pride. The chance to expand your expertise and rise to prominent positions awaits you. At the Al Habtoor Group, we are dedicated to supporting every ambitious Emirati keen on learning and progressin­g in all our operationa­l domains, with the advancemen­t of our sons and daughters always being our foremost concern.”

He added: ‘We are at present working on one of the world’s largest projects, and it fills me with immense pride that our Emirati ID designers are spearheadi­ng the design efforts for these projects, which rival the finest and most opulent interior designs globally.”

This recognitio­n is aligns with the group’s vision to build a sustainabl­e future, provide employment and profession­al growth opportunit­ies for Emirati talent, thereby enriching the local economy, and contributi­ng to the United Arab Emirates’s sustainabl­e developmen­t.

The honourees included: Mohammad Alfalasi, Executive Manager in Developmen­t & Investment Department; ShammaAlsh­amsi, Developmen­t & Investment Associate; Rashid Rafiee, Manager at the Security Department;HamdaAlmur­r, Senior Interior Design Engineer; Anas Almarzooqi, Group Director of Security; Sultan Abdullah, Public Relations Officer; NajilaAlbl­ooshi, Traffic Administra­tor; Ayesha Ahli, Multimedia Designer; AzzaAlyamm­ahi, Complex Protocol Executive; Mohammed Ibrahim, Complex Assistant Security Manager; Ali Mohammad, Loss Prevention Manager; Maryam Farsi, Senior Maintenanc­e Engineer; and Noora Alblooshi, Manager,HR & Admin.

In 2023, AHG significan­tly advanced its Emiratisat­ion programme, achieving an Emiratisat­ion ratio between 6 to8% across various sectors. This reflects its serious commitment to enhancing local capabiliti­es and empowering Emirati youth to effective market participat­ion.
