Collaborative efforts support orphans: Al-Gharib
KUWAIT CITY, March 30: The Minister of Justice and Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Counselor Faisal AlGharib, has announced that the Ministry of Justice has issued a ministerial circular detailing the procedures and criteria for appointments to public positions within the sectors and departments under the judiciary affairs budget. These procedures are designed to ensure the selection of the most qualified candidates and uphold the highest standards of transparency, equality, and equal opportunities, reports Al-Jarida daily.
Al-Gharib emphasized the importance of utilizing automated systems to streamline processes for both employees and applicants while ensuring smooth workflow within the Ministry of Justice. This move reflects the ministry’s commitment to modernizing its operations and promoting efficiency in its administrative procedures.
In other news Al-Gharib, emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting all segments of Kuwaiti society, particularly in charitable endeavors, with a special focus on orphans, a group Islam has emphasized caring for throughout history as a testament to its civilizational values.
Speaking during his participation in the Asaad Tasad initiative for orphans, organized by the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in collaboration with the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri Charitable Society, Al-Gharib highlighted Islam’s teachings regarding the importance of caring for orphans, quoting the Prophet Muhammad’s saying, “I and the one who sponsors an orphan will be like these in Paradise,” while pointing to his middle and index fingers. This underscores the significant reward and status of those who support orphans.
Al-Gharib stressed that sponsoring an orphan extends beyond individual efforts and encompasses broader societal responsibility, where various institutions, both governmental and civil, play a role in providing comprehensive support to orphaned children. The “Happiest for Orphans” initiative, launched for the second consecutive year by the Ministry of Endowments in collaboration with the Community Guidance Office, aims to uplift the lives of orphans and send a message of solidarity and care from society.
Iman Al-Khalidi, the Head of Initiatives, emphasized the importance of collective efforts from all sectors of society, including government agencies and civil society organizations, in prioritizing the wellbeing of orphaned children across all aspects of life.
Similarly, Walid Al-Saif, the director of the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri Charitable Society, expressed pride in the partnership established to support orphans, emphasizing the importance of continuing such collaborative efforts to serve the community and provide care for vulnerable children, with hopes for ongoing activities in the future.
