CASL Kuwait Chapter launches business and lifestyle magazine
KUWAIT CITY, April 4: The Kuwait Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CASL Kuwait Chapter), in collaboration with Media Services (Pvt) Ltd, has made a marked innovation with the successful launch of its inaugural magazine, ‘The Hub’, during its Annual General Meeting held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
This is the first-ever magazine published by an overseas chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
This prominent event was graced with the presence of dignitaries, including H.E. Kandeepan Balasubramaniam, the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Kuwait who graced the event as a guest of honor, and Mr. Heshana Kuruppu, the President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA), who honoured the gathering as the chief guest.
Also present were Mr. Sabah Mubarak Al-Jalawi, the Board Chairman of Kuwait Association of Accountants and Auditors (KAAA), and Mr. Rabin Gonsalves and Mr. Aditya Dhanuka, the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) – Kuwait Chapter. Other dignitaries, sponsors, and members of the CASL Kuwait Chapter, including its President Mr. Dimuthu Ethugala and Executive Committee, added to the grandeur of the event.
The magazine’s committee, chaired by Mr. Samantha Weerasekara, was composed of several other senior members from the CASL Kuwait Chapter. ‘The Hub’ impressively encapsulates a blend of business and lifestyle, also featuring contributions from business leaders and entrepreneurs.
In addition to in-depth features and articles relevant to the times, the magazine also proudly showcases the distinctive talent of CASL Kuwait Chapter members. With an array of thought-provoking pieces, ‘The Hub’ resonates as an essential source of knowledge, insights, and entertainment for its readers.
