VIVA Sponsors 3rd E-Government Forum
KUWAIT: VIVA, Kuwait’s fastest-growing and most developed telecom operator, announced that will take part in the Third E-Government Forum ‘Information Management and Security’ as platinum sponsor, held under the patronage of Prime Minister, His Highness Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, at Arraya Ballroom, from 15 to 17 November 2014.
Commenting on this sponsorship, Abdulrazzaq Al-Essa, Director of Corporate Communications Division at VIVA, said: “VIVA, as leader telecom solutions provider, was keen to participate in this forum since its first version as we have interest in technology surrounding information and communication security, confronting the challenges of the security information.”
The Third E-Government forum will discuss this year two tracks that are of significant importance to e-government development services: Information Management and Information Security. The Information Management track shall cover topics such as Road to Government Data Integration and Governance, Trends of Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Data Analytics in e-Government Solutions, and Record Management in the e-Government services. The Forum will also shed light on the future NoSQL and In-Memory Database Trends and The Paradigm Shift of the Internet of Things (IoT). A core focus of this track is to discuss the Structural Challenges of Service Oriented Governments, and the role of the M-Government programs.
However, Information security is a mandatory factor for the success of e-government programs, as well as for any other electronic systems such as banking, retail, and electronic payment related systems.
