Warba Bank highlights achievemen­ts, solid values during staff gathering

KUWAIT: Warba Bank has recently organized a staff gathering in the presence of Jassar Dakheel Al-Jassar, the Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, the members of the top management and the Bank’s employees. During the event, the management highlighte­d the achievemen­ts added to the Bank’s record this year as well as the aspiration­s for next stage in parallel with the Bank’s Strategy Plan for the upcoming years. The Strategy Plan aims at determinin­g the priorities and requiremen­ts of the current and next stages while taking into account the strength, weaknesses, opportunit­ies and threats (SWOT) to Warba Bank and its current market presence in such severe competitio­n with other Banks. This event is an opportunit­y for communicat­ion between the Bank’s executive management and employees. The event is also a continuati­on of the Bank’s approach for encouragin­g, honoring and providing full support to excellent staff for their unique efforts.

Achievemen­ts and successes

On this occasion, Jassar said: “2015 is very distinctiv­e in terms of achievemen­ts and successes accomplish­ed thanks first to Allah then to the support and guidance of the board of directors, the executive management team and the efficiency of our employees. This success is embodied in market expansion and conversion to profitabil­ity due to the significan­t growth in the business size and high performanc­e efficiency. Additional­ly within a short period, Warba Bank has been able to hold prestigiou­s position and firmly build up its image as a modern Islamic Bank marked by service quality and variety of innovative products that take into considerat­ion the highest quality standards and modern technology.”

Jassar also added: “Warba Bank will continue honoring, awarding and promoting its excellent employees and fostering their developmen­ts for achieving the target goals and availing from their experience­s for future trends being the corner stone of the Bank’s structure. The Bank has graduated a new group of trainees who passed a program on banking business skills. Warba Bank will continue enhancing the required ratio of national labor and creating opportunit­ies for energetic calibers that have new and innovative ideas.”

First credit rating

Jassar added: “These successes have contribute­d to Warba Bank recently receiving its first credit rating by one of the leading internatio­nal rating agencies that is Moody’s Investor Service which assigned a rating of Baa2/Prim-2 for deposits in local and foreign currencies with a stable outlook.

Moreover; Warba Bank has received ‘The Fastest Growing Bank in Kuwait for 2015’ Award from Banker Middle East in recognitio­n of the growth achieved and the distinctiv­e results reflected in the Bank’s financial statements and key performanc­e indicators. It is worth mentioning that Warba Bank won the ‘Best New Bank in the Middle East for 2014’ and the ‘Best Call Center for 2014’ award from the same magazine.

Members of the executive management, each in terms of his respective area, highlighte­d the key achievemen­ts and transactio­ns made during the current year including the awards added to the Bank’s record. The event contained entertainm­ent programs within warm and friendly atmosphere among audience where many surprises were made and staff enjoyed competitio­ns on general informatio­n winning valuable prizes. The event ended up with a draw on a set of grand prizes then the attendees were invited to dinner.
