Time: Novem­ber 21 (Sat) 17:00 - 20:30 Venue: Em­bassy of the Re­pub­lic of Korea, Mul­tipur­pose Hall and Out­doors space etc.

1st Part Event: Se­lect­ing King of Gim­bap (Dried Sea­weed Roll) “Open only to all par­tic­i­pants and their in­vi­tees” Time: 17:00 - 17:45 Venue: Mul­tipur­pose Hall Par­tic­i­pant: Con­test teams “10 teams in to­tal” (2 mem­bers in each team, in­di­vid­ual par­tic­i­pants al­lowed)

* All 10 teams have to reg­is­ter be­fore the event as reg­is­tra­tion clos­ing would be on first-to-come ba­sis. * Each team can in­vite up to 4 guests. Con­tent: Ex­pla­na­tion by Res­i­dence chef (10 min­utes) - Gim­bap cook­ing con­test (20 min­utes) - taste try­ing and prizes giv­ing

2nd Part Event: Korean-Ara­bic Speak­ing Con­test (Theme: Korean Street Food) “Open to the pub­lic” Time: 18:00 - 18:50 Venue: Mul­tipur­pose Hall Par­tic­i­pant: Non-Kore­ans who have good com­mand of Korean lan­guage (4 per­sons), Korean stu­dents in­vited by Kuwaiti Gov­ern­ment (2 per­sons) (Ara­bic lan­guage)

*Par­tic­i­pants are strongly rec­om­mended to use vis­ual pre­sen­ta­tion (PPT, pic­tures, videos etc.)

*Only 4 Non-Kore­ans among ap­pli­cants can par­tic­i­pate in the event through eval­u­a­tion process

Con­tent: * Screen­ing video re­lated to Korean food

* Pre­sen­ta­tion of each con­tes­tant un­der “Korean street food theme”, 5 min­utes max­i­mum for each con­tes­tant (3min to 5min) * Prizes giv­ing: 1st - 2nd (Each lan­guage) * Ap­pli­ca­tion should be sub­mit­ted to kfood­kuwait@gmail.com by Novem­ber 8

3rd Part Event: Ex­pe­ri­enc­ing Korean Street Food Time: 19:00 - 20:30 Venue: Mul­tipur­pose Hall out­doors space and Gar­den

Con­tent: Dis­tribut­ing coupons on the par­tic­i­pants so that they can go to ta­bles where food is pre­pared and ex­change coupons with food (Stim­u­lat­ing buy­ing and eat­ing food from street in Korea)
