Korean Street Food Festival
Time: November 21 (Sat) 17:00 - 20:30 Venue: Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Multipurpose Hall and Outdoors space etc.
1st Part Event: Selecting King of Gimbap (Dried Seaweed Roll) “Open only to all participants and their invitees” Time: 17:00 - 17:45 Venue: Multipurpose Hall Participant: Contest teams “10 teams in total” (2 members in each team, individual participants allowed)
* All 10 teams have to register before the event as registration closing would be on first-to-come basis. * Each team can invite up to 4 guests. Content: Explanation by Residence chef (10 minutes) - Gimbap cooking contest (20 minutes) - taste trying and prizes giving

2nd Part Event: Korean-Arabic Speaking Contest (Theme: Korean Street Food) “Open to the public” Time: 18:00 - 18:50 Venue: Multipurpose Hall Participant: Non-Koreans who have good command of Korean language (4 persons), Korean students invited by Kuwaiti Government (2 persons) (Arabic language)
*Participants are strongly recommended to use visual presentation (PPT, pictures, videos etc.)
*Only 4 Non-Koreans among applicants can participate in the event through evaluation process
Content: * Screening video related to Korean food
* Presentation of each contestant under “Korean street food theme”, 5 minutes maximum for each contestant (3min to 5min) * Prizes giving: 1st - 2nd (Each language) * Application should be submitted to kfoodkuwait@gmail.com by November 8
3rd Part Event: Experiencing Korean Street Food Time: 19:00 - 20:30 Venue: Multipurpose Hall outdoors space and Garden
Content: Distributing coupons on the participants so that they can go to tables where food is prepared and exchange coupons with food (Stimulating buying and eating food from street in Korea)
