Kuwait anti-corruption authority signs MoU

KUWAIT: Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Minister of Informatio­n Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah said the two ministries fully support the efforts of the Public Anti-Corruption Authority (PACA).

It is very important to have a specialize­d body that can protect society against corruption and bring awareness on the matter, Sheikh Salman said yesterday on the sidelines of a ceremony to sign two memorandum­s of understand­ing (MoU) between the ministries and PACA. Meanwhile, PACA Chairman Abdulrahma­n Al-Nemash noted that the memorandum­s aim to create coordinati­on between the authority and the media to spread awareness on the dangers of corruption and ways to prevent it. “Cooperatio­n between these bodies include producing radio and TV programs, organizing workshops and training courses for employees in the field,” he said.
