Surgeries for Syrians

HATAY: Kuwait’s Shifa humanitarian team has conducted 10 surgeries for Syrian refugees in Amal Hospital in the southern city of Hatay, close to the Syrian borders. The operations were carried out on a number of children, women and elderly, team coordinator Dr Talal Al-Fadhala said. He said the operations, including plastic surgeries, varied in terms of complexity, adding that the team would conduct more than 30 surgeries during their mission. —KUNA
