Solidarity people, governments to fend off enemies: Minister
KUWAIT: The people’s solidarity with their governments will be the first line of defense against any threats and enemies, said Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem AlHumoud Al-Sabah.
Sheikh Salman’s statement came during his reception of Egyptian military expert and head of the Egyptian army’s center for strategic studies former Major General Hussameddine Suwailem yesterday, the Information Ministry said in a press release.
The meeting focused on bolstering cooperation among Arab states within the youth level. It also touched on issues connected with spreading moderation and means to combat extremism ideologies. Sheikh Salman and the Egyptian military expert also touched on the recent development in the Arab region during their meeting. — KUNA
