Lulu Hypermarke­t launches ‘Discover America 2015’

Lulu Hypermarke­t, the leading hypermarke­t for the best savings, launched the ‘Discover America 2015’ a festival highlighti­ng the best of US foods on Thursday, 19 November at its Al-Qurain outlet. US Ambassador to Kuwait Douglas A Silliman inaugurate­d the festival in the presence of The Emke Group Executive Director M A Ashraf Ali, who was the chief guest of the function, and top Lulu management and customers. Students from the American united school of Kuwait welcomed the Ambassador to the fest and sang the national anthems of Kuwait and US.

Speaking on the occasion, the American Ambassador said, “I am very happy to inaugurate the ‘Discover America 2015’ fest and am pleased to see such a variety of US brand products here.”

The festivitie­s were enhanced by the dÈcor that included displays of popular US tourist attraction­s from Disneyland to the Statue of Liberty.

The promotion, from 18 to 28 November, aims to entice guests on a journey of discovery, during which US branded products will be on special offer. The promotion includes popular food brands, such as McCormick, Ragu, Organiqell­e, Herrs, Folgers, Quaker, Duncan Hines, Eggo, Orelda and many more. Lulu Hypermarke­t’s promotion of a country’s food industry has always been well received by customers who are eager for the chance to experience new food cultures made available at competitiv­e prices.
