Lulu Hyper­mar­ket launches ‘Dis­cover Amer­ica 2015’

Lulu Hyper­mar­ket, the lead­ing hyper­mar­ket for the best sav­ings, launched the ‘Dis­cover Amer­ica 2015’ a fes­ti­val high­light­ing the best of US foods on Thurs­day, 19 Novem­ber at its Al-Qu­rain out­let. US Am­bas­sador to Kuwait Dou­glas A Sil­li­man in­au­gu­rated the fes­ti­val in the pres­ence of The Emke Group Ex­ec­u­tive Di­rec­tor M A Ashraf Ali, who was the chief guest of the func­tion, and top Lulu man­age­ment and cus­tomers. Stu­dents from the Amer­i­can united school of Kuwait wel­comed the Am­bas­sador to the fest and sang the na­tional an­thems of Kuwait and US.

Speak­ing on the oc­ca­sion, the Amer­i­can Am­bas­sador said, “I am very happy to in­au­gu­rate the ‘Dis­cover Amer­ica 2015’ fest and am pleased to see such a va­ri­ety of US brand prod­ucts here.”

The fes­tiv­i­ties were en­hanced by the dÈ­cor that in­cluded dis­plays of pop­u­lar US tourist at­trac­tions from Dis­ney­land to the Statue of Lib­erty.

The pro­mo­tion, from 18 to 28 Novem­ber, aims to en­tice guests on a jour­ney of dis­cov­ery, dur­ing which US branded prod­ucts will be on spe­cial of­fer. The pro­mo­tion in­cludes pop­u­lar food brands, such as McCormick, Ragu, Or­ganiqelle, Herrs, Fol­gers, Quaker, Duncan Hines, Eggo, Orelda and many more. Lulu Hyper­mar­ket’s pro­mo­tion of a coun­try’s food in­dus­try has al­ways been well re­ceived by cus­tomers who are ea­ger for the chance to ex­pe­ri­ence new food cul­tures made avail­able at com­pet­i­tive prices.
