Kuwait Times - - WHAT’S ON -

As a part of its 17th annual day celebrations, Arpan Kuwait will be hosting MJ5 show and Indian Cultural Divas on Friday 4, Nov 2016, at Marina Hall, Jleeb, Kuwait.

MJ5, popularly known as India’s own Moonwalkers are a band of 5 member crew who participated and won the inaugural season of Star Plus’s dance reality show, India’s Dancing Superstar and won the prize of 50 lac Indian rupees. The group has always enthralled the audiences with their unique style and innovative dance performances. Inspired by the Legendary Michael Jackson, their dance style is Animation. They have performed in the stages across India and World alike.

MJ5 team members are, Karthik Ramiah, Vishnu Kumar, Himanshu Gola, Rohit Singh and Alexander Dannis Anthony, while Tushti Nitish manages the team.

Arpan also takes the opportunity to dedicate its tribute to the Glorious Indian Art Forms featuring cultural events from East, West, North & South of India. This show is expected to be one of its kind where Arpan is trying to showcase the rich cultural diversity of Independent India in one stage. Indian Cultural Divas is a humble attempt by Arpan to bring people belonging to different states of India, under one roof and showcase the fact the in spite of its diversity we are united. Arpan has obtained the support of associations from different regions of India. Indian embassy’s support in connecting various associations needs special mention.

Arpan is keenly involved in promoting Indian art and culture and during the last 17 years Arpan has been in the forefront championing social causes in Kuwait. Arpan’s role in bringing rare Indian art form in front Kuwait audiences needs mentioning. For the efficient conduct of the program, different committees under the leadership to conveners Mahadevan and Suresh have been formed.
