KIB sponsors Mandala Art Workshop
Under the umbrella of its strategic partnership with Al-Sidra Association for the Psychological Care of Cancer Patients, Kuwait International Bank (KIB) recently sponsored the Mandala Art Therapy and Healing Workshop. Organized by Al-Sidra in partnership with ArtspaceQ8, the workshop aimed to help female cancer patients achieve the maximum levels of healing, by promoting relaxation through painting and drawing.
As part of its leading social responsibility program, KIB offers strategic support to Al Sidra throughout the year, sponsoring the Association’s different activities and initiatives. KIB also provides support to Al Sidra in its mission to provide patients and their families with comprehensive services, focusing on healthcare, treatment and awareness across all stages of the disease.
“This strategic sponsorship is the latest in a long line of initiatives that we have carried out under the umbrella of our broad and expansive social responsibility program. In this particular case, our partnership with Al Sidra came as a result of our strong belief in the importance of their mission and cause, which focuses on creating a positive environment for cancer patients to help them better adapt to their conditions and ultimately enhance their response to treatment,” said Nawaf Najia, Manager of the Corporate Communications Unit at KIB.
Najia further added: “Our partnership with Al-Sidra reflects KIB’s commitment towards the community in Kuwait, especially in terms of enhancing health consciousness across the country. As this is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we wanted to do our part to help raise awareness about this serious disease, and educate the public about its most important facets; starting from the importance of early detection, all the way to how to support patients through their difficult journey battling the disease.”
