Ahli United Bank spon­sors ‘Ser­vice is My Joy’ in col­lab­o­ra­tion with LoYAC

KUWAIT: Ahli United Bank (AUB) an­nounced the spon­sor­ship of ‘Ser­vice Is My Joy’ Pro­gram within the frame­work of its strate­gic part­ner­ship with LOYAC Kuwait. The Bank’s lat­est al­liance re­flects its ef­fort to re­in­force its ex­ten­sive range of com­mu­nity ac­tiv­i­ties and un­der­ly­ing sup­port for the Kuwaiti so­ci­ety.

‘Ser­vice Is My Joy’ ini­tia­tive aims at help­ing sup­port­ing var­i­ous so­cial seg­ments. The ini­tia­tive in­volves par­tic­i­pants aged 16 and above tak­ing part in vol­un­teer­ing com­mit­tees and col­lab­o­rat­ing with a num­ber of vol­un­teer­ing cen­ters such as KAACH, Par­adise In­sti­tute and Abeer 2. Through­out the pro­gram, ac­tiv­i­ties range be­tween learn­ing how to per­form first aid at the Kuwait Red Cres­cent So­ci­ety as well as pro­vid­ing sup­port ser­vices to the el­derly.

On this oc­ca­sion, Moataz Al-Rafi, AUB’s Se­nior Deputy CEO, Bank­ing Group, said, “We are de­lighted with the new part­ner­ship agree­ment be­tween the Bank and LoYAC. This new tie up will re­sult in a wide range of di­ver­si­fied ac­tiv­i­ties in the near fu­ture, to fur­ther help in achiev­ing our ob­jec­tives in sup­port­ing Kuwaiti so­ci­ety through mean­ing­ful part­ner­ships be­tween fi­nan­cial in­sti­tu­tions and a promis­ing younger gen­er­a­tion.”

Al Rafi con­firmed that AUB has spared no ef­fort to in­ten­sify its par­tic­i­pa­tion in the var­i­ous ini­tia­tives that are in the in­ter­est of so­ci­ety. He promised more ac­tiv­i­ties and ini­tia­tives that re­flect the Bank’s strate­gic plan for so­cial re­spon­si­bil­ity as a fi­nan­cial in­sti­tu­tion.

More­over, Fe­touh Al-Dalali, LoYAC Kuwait board mem­ber said, “We are proud of our new part­ner­ship with Ahli United Bank, and ex­cited about the team’s over­all pos­i­tive spirit. The Bank is keen to sup­port the youth and drive pos­i­tive change, with an ob­jec­tive to spread pos­i­tive val­ues through a wide range of pro­grams that en­able the younger gen­er­a­tion ca­pa­ble to achieve de­vel­op­ment.”

LoYAC is a non­profit or­ga­ni­za­tion and was es­tab­lished in 2002 as a pos­i­tive ini­tia­tive. The found­ing mem­bers of LoYAC rec­og­nized that youth can be led to­wards peace by pro­vid­ing them with op­por­tu­ni­ties for per­sonal growth; ex­pe­ri­ence the joy of ser­vice and de­vel­op­ing their pro­fes­sional skills to qual­ify and en­able them to join the work­force.
