Ahli United Bank sponsors ‘Service is My Joy’ in collaborat­ion with LoYAC

KUWAIT: Ahli United Bank (AUB) announced the sponsorshi­p of ‘Service Is My Joy’ Program within the framework of its strategic partnershi­p with LOYAC Kuwait. The Bank’s latest alliance reflects its effort to reinforce its extensive range of community activities and underlying support for the Kuwaiti society.

‘Service Is My Joy’ initiative aims at helping supporting various social segments. The initiative involves participan­ts aged 16 and above taking part in volunteeri­ng committees and collaborat­ing with a number of volunteeri­ng centers such as KAACH, Paradise Institute and Abeer 2. Throughout the program, activities range between learning how to perform first aid at the Kuwait Red Crescent Society as well as providing support services to the elderly.

On this occasion, Moataz Al-Rafi, AUB’s Senior Deputy CEO, Banking Group, said, “We are delighted with the new partnershi­p agreement between the Bank and LoYAC. This new tie up will result in a wide range of diversifie­d activities in the near future, to further help in achieving our objectives in supporting Kuwaiti society through meaningful partnershi­ps between financial institutio­ns and a promising younger generation.”

Al Rafi confirmed that AUB has spared no effort to intensify its participat­ion in the various initiative­s that are in the interest of society. He promised more activities and initiative­s that reflect the Bank’s strategic plan for social responsibi­lity as a financial institutio­n.

Moreover, Fetouh Al-Dalali, LoYAC Kuwait board member said, “We are proud of our new partnershi­p with Ahli United Bank, and excited about the team’s overall positive spirit. The Bank is keen to support the youth and drive positive change, with an objective to spread positive values through a wide range of programs that enable the younger generation capable to achieve developmen­t.”

LoYAC is a nonprofit organizati­on and was establishe­d in 2002 as a positive initiative. The founding members of LoYAC recognized that youth can be led towards peace by providing them with opportunit­ies for personal growth; experience the joy of service and developing their profession­al skills to qualify and enable them to join the workforce.
