KIEV: Ed­uardo Salvio con­verted a penalty and Franco Servi also scored as Ben­fica beat Dy­namo Kiev 2-0 yes­ter­day for a first win in the Cham­pi­ons League this sea­son.

GonÁalo Guedes was brought down by An­tunes, al­low­ing Salvio the chance to score from the spot in the ninth minute. Con­ced­ing early dis­rupted Dy­namo’s rhythm and the hosts fell fur­ther be­hind in the 55th, when Servi scored at the sec­ond at­tempt af­ter his first ef­fort struck his own player, Kostas Mitroglou.

Ben­fica moved up to third in Group C, a point be­hind Be­sik­tas and two be­hind Napoli af­ter three games. Dy­namo has one point. — AP
