Nissan Kuwait presents the extended Patrol Family in An exceptional Desert Meets City experience

Abdulmohsen Abdulaziz Al-Babtain Co. (AABC), the authorized agent of Nissan vehicles in the State of Kuwait held an extravagant event yesterday at Basel Al-Salem AlSabah Circuit, one of the largest circuits in the Middle East, to announce the launch of its allnew 2017 Nissan Patrol V6 which makes its debut in Kuwait to serve an even broader customer base in the market.

The event was held to celebrate the extended Patrol family, highlighting each model’s unique aspect. These models included the Patrol Safari, Patrol NISMO and the full a range of our Patrol vehicles that were in Kuwait, creating a mini museum to all Nissan Patrol lovers.

The new model with a V6 engine was unveiled in the presence of Nissan regional and local top management, media representatives, along with VIP guests who had the opportunity to enjoy the exciting experience of driving the new Patrol cars both in a city created environment and experience its power in the desert. In an electrifying ambiance and with fabulous on-site entertainment, guests enjoyed first-hand the power, luxury and comfort that the Patrol vehicles offered. For adventure-lovers, professional 4x4 drivers took guests on an all exclusive exciting offroad experience, to witness live the power of the Nissan Patrol.

The Nissan Patrol range was on display, showcasing some of the most powerful and luxurious vehicles, which over the decades have become an integral part of the social and cultural fabric of Kuwait. Known as the ‘hero of all terrains’, the Nissan Patrol family has a heritage that stems back from 1951. It has now evolved to become one of the most iconic vehicles ever built, winning over 26 awards since 2014 and making it the most awarded SUV in the region.

The new Patrol 4L V6 was designed for and tested in the region to meet all types of terrain and temperature conditions while delivering the same legendary off-road and on-road capability. It delivers best in class power in the V6 category. With 275 horsepower and 394 Nm, the Patrol V6 offers 12% more torque in the driving range than the competition while retaining the same towing capacity as the Patrol V8. The Patrol V6 weighs less and enjoys lower ownership costs, making it the ideal choice as a practical, everyday family vehicle while retaining its go-anywhere readiness for any kind of adventure.

Nissan Patrol V8

The V8 Patrol offers a great deal of performance due to the two engine option. It is considered a highly sophisticated 4x4 SUV with for its new leather interior; accompanying its safety features like a reversing camera, 'around view' monitor, dynamic and traction control etc.

Nissan Patrol Safari

The “World Adventurer Vehicle” on the other hand, has an impressive styling and richly appointed interior, which transcends expectations of a 4WD vehicle. Its formidable all-terrain prowess is underscored by superior engineering, letting one escape the ordinary and explore new possibilities. One could choose between the Station Wagon or the 2-door hard top, where both models feature 4.8L engines and are available in automatic or manual transmission.

The NISMO edition

The more luxurious and sporty version of the Nissan Patrol, with ultimate performance. It is a motorsports-inspired aerodynamics version of the Patrol SUV that offers an exhilarating drive and proposes customized body reinforcements to allow precision steering and quick response.
