PAHW signs deal to build 640 apartments in Jaber Al-Ahmad
KUWAIT: The Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) announced yesterday that it has signed a deal with a local firm to build some 640 apartments in Jaber Al-Ahmad city, part of broad infrastructure work in the new residential area.
The deal, with an expected timeframe of 900 days, consists of work to erect apartments stretching on 1000 square meters, PAHW’s Director General Bader AlWugayan said, adding that one apartment contains five floors. Other apartments, with a space of 385 square meters, will feature the most cutting-edge design and decor, catering to the needs of the average Kuwaiti family, he noted. Elaborating on the deal, the PAHW Director General added that it also includes work to build three mosques, a fire station, a police station, fitness center and other services. — KUNA
