VIVA CEO Recognizes Ambassador Duwaisan

Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Badran, CEO of VIVA, Kuwait’s fastest-growing and most developed telecom operator, recognized the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait in UK and Dean of Diplomatic Corps Khaled Al-Duwaisan during the 52nd annual conference of the National Union of Kuwaiti Students (NUKS) United Kingdom and Ireland branch that took place at the Westminste­r Park Plaza Hotel London (UK), from 28 until 30 October 2016.

Badran presented a trophy to Ambassador Duwaisan in recognitio­n of his giving and his significan­t role in serving Kuwait. In addition, he presented a trophy to Derrar Murad, NUKS’s President. Event included an economic, entreprene­urial, poetry, motivation­al, stand-up comedy, and a variety of other segments, and first of its kind social media interactiv­e segment and various entertainm­ent options.

The National Union of Kuwaiti Students is considered to be the lone representa­tive for the Kuwaiti students studying in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, as it is well known to be the oldest branch of the Union, establishe­d in London 1950. The students union aims to serve its members by demanding of protecting their rights, ensuring the successful encouragem­ent of students in getting their scientific procuremen­t.

VIVA is keen to continue its ongoing socially responsibl­e role in the community in education, health, sport, environmen­t and entreprene­urship, by spreading the spirit of goodness amongst Kuwaiti society.
