Bootlegger caught
An Indian man was arrested for using snacks as a cover to sell liquor with the help of a compatriot. Police received information from residents in Jahra about a woman who sold snacks under unsanitary conditions. Police found the woman and searched her bag. They found Indian snacks wrapped in paper, and at the bottom there were four bottles of locally-brewed liquor. The woman was also in violation of residency law. She said another person made agreements with persons he knew and asked her to deliver the liquor and bring the money. She was sent to concerned authorities. — Al-Rai
