Etihad Airways Engineerin­g receives CASA approval Airline expanding global customer base

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) of Australia has granted Etihad Airways Engineerin­g a CASR Part 145 Maintenanc­e Organisati­on Approval. This recognitio­n Etihad Airways Engineerin­g is able to provide base maintenanc­e services on the latest Airbus and Boeing aircraft - the Airbus A380 and the Boeing 787 - as well as on the Boeing 777 and the Airbus A330 and A320 families of aircraft.

Jeff Wilkinson, Chief Executive of Etihad Airways Engineerin­g, said: “We have been expanding our global customer base in line with our growing capabiliti­es, particular­ly on new platforms like the A380 and the Boeing 787.

“We are proud to have achieved compliance with CASA’s stringent regulatory standards and look forward to bring our industry leading aircraft maintenanc­e and engineerin­g solutions to aircraft operators in Australia.”

Etihad Airways Engineerin­g is the largest commercial aircraft maintenanc­e, repair and overhaul (MRO) services provider in the Middle East and has served more than 100 airlines and aviation operators from around the world. The company was recently named MRO Service Provider of the Year - Middle East at the Aviation Business Awards 2016.
