Eti­had Air­ways En­gi­neer­ing re­ceives CASA ap­proval Air­line ex­pand­ing global cus­tomer base

The Civil Avi­a­tion Safety Author­ity (CASA) of Aus­tralia has granted Eti­had Air­ways En­gi­neer­ing a CASR Part 145 Main­te­nance Or­gan­i­sa­tion Ap­proval. This recog­ni­tion Eti­had Air­ways En­gi­neer­ing is able to pro­vide base main­te­nance ser­vices on the lat­est Air­bus and Boe­ing air­craft - the Air­bus A380 and the Boe­ing 787 - as well as on the Boe­ing 777 and the Air­bus A330 and A320 fam­i­lies of air­craft.

Jeff Wilkin­son, Chief Ex­ec­u­tive of Eti­had Air­ways En­gi­neer­ing, said: “We have been ex­pand­ing our global cus­tomer base in line with our grow­ing ca­pa­bil­i­ties, par­tic­u­larly on new plat­forms like the A380 and the Boe­ing 787.

“We are proud to have achieved com­pli­ance with CASA’s strin­gent reg­u­la­tory stan­dards and look for­ward to bring our in­dus­try lead­ing air­craft main­te­nance and en­gi­neer­ing so­lu­tions to air­craft op­er­a­tors in Aus­tralia.”

Eti­had Air­ways En­gi­neer­ing is the largest com­mer­cial air­craft main­te­nance, re­pair and over­haul (MRO) ser­vices provider in the Mid­dle East and has served more than 100 air­lines and avi­a­tion op­er­a­tors from around the world. The com­pany was re­cently named MRO Ser­vice Provider of the Year - Mid­dle East at the Avi­a­tion Busi­ness Awards 2016.
