Smart School visits Kuwait Times

Students from Smart School visited the Kuwait Times newspaper in the Industrial Shuwaikh area for an educational field trip. The students were given short lectures on journalism, newspaper marketing and finance and a tour of the premises including the opportunity to see the printing press in action. The tour guide explained to students that Kuwait Times is the first English newspaper in Kuwait and that their printing press prints a number of widely distributed newspapers. They were shown how a newspaper is printed, and how newspapers provide readers with constant updates about what is going on in the country and around the globe.
