88.8 FM radio station to create waves in 360 MALL

-

360 MALL, Kuwait’s iconic shopping mall, will be home to 88.8 FM, a distinctive local dialect radio station, which will broadcast from its studios at the mall’s third level. The license to broadcast on 88.8 FM has been won by Blue General Trading and Contracting, starting from November 10, 2016 for a period of 5 years in agreement with the Ministry of Information.

88.8 FM is the first private radio station in Kuwait which delivered a unique concept for radio programs, distinguishing itself from its competition very quickly. The station’s fresh approach made itself welcoming to people through the use of local dialect and an emphasis on energetic and entertaining music. From its new location, the broadcast station will create and introduce new programs to suit its audiences, giving it a fresh lease of life.

Claudia Lopusinska, Marketing Manager, 360 MALL, said: “We welcome our first broadcast tenant to the mall which adds to the rich mix of retail offerings on hand for our valued patrons and guests. 360 MALL has always believed in differentiating itself through several new initiatives and the addition of 88.8 FMcreates just that excitement, not only for our tenants but also for our visitors.”

88.8 FM has several genres of shows and the way they’re presented differs from the usual mainstream in radio. The station offers new topics, songs and invites media personalities to participate in its shows, utilizing the latest technology as well as all some of the most modern broadcasting equipment to produce an exciting and eclectic mix of music to listeners.
