KIB’s cricket team wins match against Gulf Bank

In their first game of this season of the Kuwait Banks Club (KBC) League, Kuwait International Bank’s cricket team recently won their match against Gulf Bank’s team by 5 wickets.

After winning the toss, Gulf Bank elected to bat first, but KIB’s team kicked off the game with determination and skill. KIB’s bowlers exerted pressure from the very beginning and took wickets with regular intervals, restricting the Gulf Bank team to only 117 runs. The KIB team then opened its innings with confidence and a fierce attitude, despite one of its players getting injured and having to leave the game.

With this victory, KIB scored a win in its first game of the 2016-2017 season of Kuwait Banks Club (KBC) League, winning the match in 19th over with 5 wickets spare. Furthermore, KIB’s Ali Merji was named “Man of the Match” for his impressive performance during the game. Congratulating the team on their win, the Bank’s Management wished the Cricket team a successful season with plenty of more victories to follow.
