The all-new 2017 Acadia - designed to offer great versatility and refinement, with more advanced safety technologies -available for sale in Kuwait GMC showrooms, starting from KD10,999.

Over an exclusive launching event, GMC’s official dealer in Kuwait - Mohammed Saleh & Reda Yousuf Behbehani - unveiled Acadia’s allnew model lineup, featuring the Acadia SLE & SLT, Acadia Denali and All Terrain at the main GMC Showroom located in Al-Rai Area (Mohamad Bin Al Qassem St.). The event saw an impressive attendance of customers, corporate clients, and representatives of the press, as well as members of General Motors’ senior management who travelled to Kuwait specifically to attend the unveiling.

During the occasion, Adel Behbehani, CEO of GMC Behbehani remarked that it was a true pleasure unveiling the all-new generation of the GMC Acadia 2017. The all-new GMC 2017 Acadia - which comes packed with an expanded range of available active safety features and new 310 HP 3.6L V6 powertrain - offers buyers a truly compelling package.

The 2017 GMC Acadia lineup is on sale across showrooms in in Kuwait- starting from 10,999 Kuwaiti Dinars, Acadia SLE and SLT come standard with a three-year/60,000 kilometers scheduled service package while Acadia Denali benefits from a four-year/80,000 Kilometers schedule service package. All trims are complemented by a three-year/60,000 kilometers manufacturer warranty, as well as four years of 24/7 Roadside Assistance.

The strategic re-scoping of the 2017 Acadia - which comes in four distinct trim levels that include SLE, SLT, Denali and All Terrain - offers customers a midsize crossover positioned between the compact Terrain and full-size Yukon. Depending on the model, it is available with five-, six- or seven-passenger seating, while offering greater maneuverability and enhanced driving dynamics over the first-generation model.

The new Acadia is 318 Kilograms lighter than the outgoing model, which pays dividends with fuel efficiency.

Active safety features

A new standard 3.6L V-6 engine is more powerful and efficient, while offering over 1800 Kilograms of estimated trailering capability (with the available towing package). It delivers 310 horsepower and 9.41 L/100km highway (FWD models). In addition, the Acadia’s new engines feature direct injection, variable valve timing, and active fuel management. The new V6 is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and an electronically controlled drive mode selector.

As a contemporary crossover designed for families on the go, the 2017 Acadia offers the latest active safety features to protect them, as well as the latest technologies to keep them connected as the 2017 Acadia is equipped with easy to use Apple Car Play system as a standard. The active safety features - such as Front Pedestrian Braking and Surround Vision Camera - are designed to help make drivers more aware of their surroundings and potential crash situations. With this in mind, the vehicle is also equipped with a new, standard rear seat alert that can remind the driver when an item may have been left in the second- and third-row seats which is the industry-first rear seat reminder along with foot-activated liftgate system.
