Kuwait Airways to highlight transformation strategy, new livery at World Travel Market

-

Kuwait Airways, the national airline of the State of Kuwait, has today announced it will be promoting its five-year transformation strategy and new livery at the World Travel Market (WTM) 2016, being held in London from 79 November.

This will be Kuwait Airways’ second time outing at the world’s second most influential travel industry event, which is a perfect platform for companies connected to the travel industry to represent their product offering and differentiation to an international audience.

With innovation and product development being one of the key themes of WTM 2016, Kuwait Airways’ recent announced transformation strategy, new livery launch, and new fleet additions are the perfect talking points. The Kuwait Airways team will, therefore, be looking to cement ties with existing and new UK and global travel operators, as part of their participation at the event.

Speaking ahead of the event, Rasha Al-Roumi, Chairperson and CEO of Kuwait Airways, said: “World Travel Market is a proven platform from which to generate new business partnerships and to have our message heard by a truly international audience. We are confident that our representatives and stand will both be instrumental in delivering on these goals.”

“Kuwait Airways’ five-year transformation plan got underway, in 2016, with the launch of our new livery and branding and this transformation was added to further, this month [November], with the announcement of our new schedule. This means passengers can look forward to more direct flights, more convenient flight timings, as well as increased frequencies along key routes.” “London, of course, is Kuwait Airways’ most popular international destination - now flying daily - and will be the first route to make use of our new Boeing 777300ER fleet,” Roumi concluded.

World Travel Market 2016 will be held at the ExCeL exhibitions and international convention center, in the UK capital, situated between London City Airport and Canary Wharf. The three-day event is the largest English-speaking travel trade event in the world and only second in size to ITB Berlin.

Over the three-day event, from 7-9 November, WTM 2016 will host around 5,000 exhibitors and welcome over 50,000 participants and visitors from over 182 countries. According to the organizers, WTM 2016 will facilitate approximately GBP2.5 billion (KD 947.3 million) worth of industry deals.
