Al Mulla, Be­hbe­hani Mo­tor Co cel­e­brate Jeep birth­day

US Am­bas­sador Sil­ver­man at­tends mag­nif­i­cent cer­e­mony

Al Mulla and Be­hbe­hani Mo­tor Com­pany (MBMC) - the of­fi­cial dis­trib­u­tor of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Fiat, Alfa Romeo and MOPAR in Kuwait - cel­e­brated the Jeep’s 75th an­niver­sary at Mulla & Be­hbe­hani show­room in Al-Rai in­dus­trial area. The event took place with the at­ten­dance of the am­bas­sador of the United States of Amer­ica to Kuwait, Lawrence Sil­ver­man and other im­por­tant dig­ni­taries. This mag­nif­i­cent event was part of the Dis­cover Amer­ica Week held un­der the aegis of the US Em­bassy.

Speak­ing on the oc­ca­sion, Os­car Rivoli, Gen­eral Man­ager at MBMC, said: “Jeep ve­hi­cles have de­fined the au­then­tic SUV and set the bench­mark for off-road ca­pa­bil­ity and free­dom since they were first pro­duced in 1941. To­day, Jeep SUVs con­tinue to de­liver 4x4 lead­er­ship, as well as fuel ef­fi­ciency, world-class crafts­man­ship and pre­mium on-road dy­nam­ics.

“In honor of the brand’s 75th an­niver­sary, we are pleased to in­tro­duce eye-catch­ing, spe­cial-edi­tion mod­els of the Jeep Grand Chero­kee and Jeep Wran­gler in Kuwait that cel­e­brate the un­par­al­leled his­tory of the leg­endary of Jeep, these mod­els carry a 75th An­niver­sary ex­te­rior badge to sig­nify the long and var­ied his­tory of the brand. Spe­cial wheels, new ex­te­rior paint col­ors along with re­freshed and spe­cial in­te­rior ac­cents en­able the 75th An­niver­sary mod­els to stand out from the crowd” he added.

Born in 1941, the Jeep brand in 2016 cel­e­brates 75 years of 4x4 lead­er­ship, mil­i­tary his­tory and open-air free­dom and ad­ven­ture. As a trib­ute to this di­a­mond an­niver­sary cel­e­bra­tion, Jeep has cre­ated dis­tinc­tive 75th An­niver­sary spe­cial-edi­tion mod­els of each ve­hi­cle in its lineup.

US Am­bas­sador to Kuwait Lawrence Sil­ver­man ex­pressed his plea­sure in tak­ing part in the spe­cial event, em­pha­siz­ing the value and legacy of the Jeep cars in US his­tory, a brand cus­tom made by spe­cial re­quest of the US Gov­ern­ment dur­ing WWII. Am­bas­sador Sil­ver­man ex­pressed his ap­pre­ci­a­tion for the deep-rooted, his­tor­i­cal US-Kuwait re­la­tions, par­tic­u­larly in the area of com­merce that wit­nesses a con­stant, an­nual growth.

The launch ac­tiv­i­ties were capped off with a tour of the Al-Rai show­room by the US Am­bas­sador, along with his team and other dis­tin­guished guests to re­view the his­tor­i­cal and clas­si­cal Jeep mod­els that were on dis­play.
