Te­lan­gana Ja­gruthi Kuwait ‘BANGARU BATHUKAMMA’ a so­cial cul­tural event

The full day event held at the Hil­ton Ho­tel Re­sort Man­gaf and Touris­tic Park Ab­basiya on 13th of Oc­to­ber con­sisted the mak­ing of Bathukamma and the main event was or­ga­nized by Te­lan­gana Ja­gruthi Kuwait un­der Pa­tron­age of Mr Hari Prasad Chel­lam­setty, Te­lan­gana Ja­gruthi Kuwait Pres­i­dent Mr Vi­nay Muthyala and team mem­bers were wel­comed with en­thu­si­asm.

The spe­cial guests re­ceived a grand wel­come at Kuwait in­ter­na­tional air­port by Te­lan­gana Ja­gruthi Kuwait team and other prom­i­nent peo­ple from Kuwait. The event started at 9am in Hil­ton Ho­tel Te­lan­gana’s prom­i­nent women’s group gath­er­ing wel­comed guest of honor Kal­vakuntla Kavitha and her team.

Bathukamma (‘Mother God­dess come Alive’) rep­re­sents the cul­tural spirit of Te­lan­gana Kal­vakuntla Kavitha is an am­bas­sador of this cul­tural event. Kavithakka took pledge to keep alive this age old tra­di­tion of mak­ing Bathukamma. She her­self sat to make beau­ti­ful flower stack, she ar­ranged flower pyra­mid with dif­fer­ent unique sea­sonal flow­ers most of them with medic­i­nal val­ues im­ported from Te­lan­gana Re­gion to Kuwait. She also sang folk songs while ar­rang­ing seven con­cen­tric lay­ers of the dif­fer­ent color flow­ers in the shape of tem­ple gop­u­ram along with non­res­i­dents of Te­lan­gana and Kuwaiti women’s group. While mak­ing bathukamma, Ms Ab­hi­lasha Suresh in­ter­viewed her, the live in­ter­view was tele­casted in re­gional tele­vi­sions of Te­lan­gana and in all Ja­gruthi or­ga­ni­za­tion web­sites.

Thou­sands of Te­lan­gan­ites from across Kuwait hit the Touris­tic Park Ab­basiya au­di­to­rium Sec­ond half of the event started at Touris­tic Park Ab­basiya Au­di­to­rium with wel­comed the aus­pi­cious gath­er­ing a warm wel­come by hosts Mrs Vi­jaya Nir­mala Ya­dav Nair and Ab­hi­lasha Suresh, as they set the mood for the spe­cial evening of the day.

The Spe­cial Guests were wel­comed on stage with a warm and cheer­ful wel­come by the au­di­ence. This was fol­lowed with an im­pres­sive per­for­mance of clas­si­cal dance which was per­formed by Te­lan­gana’s bloom­ing tal­ents Vishnu Priya by Shi­vathan­dav. The event was women cen­tric to fa­cil­i­ta­tion of the women. A large num­ber of women gath­ered in the au­di­to­rium were ea­gerly wait­ing for the mo­ment to dance tra­di­tional dance of Bathukamma with Kavitha­garu Sou­venir was re­leased by the chief guests and the guest of hon­ors with TJK mem­bers. The TJK pres­i­dent Muthyala Vi­nay thanked Deputy Chief of Mis­sion at In­dian Em­bassy M Sub hashish Goldar, all well-wish­ers, dis­tin­guished guests and ex­tended spe­cial thanks to the event spon­sors in his mes­sage he en­hanced the im­por­tance of bathukamma and its up­lift­ment by re­spect­ing our tra­di­tional and lo­cal cul­ture.

The spe­cial evening of pub­lic event was con­tin­ued with grand wel­come of fa­mous celebrity artist of V6 news chan­nel teen Maar fame Ms Matakari Man­gli with great ap­plause from the au­di­ence the col­or­ful Cul­tural Pro­grams pre­sented by Man­gli cap­tured au­dions at­ten­tion for more than an hour which in­deed a mind blow­ing mu­si­cal treat to the au­di­ence. The event was con­cluded by Vote of thanks pre­sented by Mr Gan­gad­har GK.
