Court ruling

In an unprecedented step, the government challenged a Cassation Court ruling, which is supposed to be final, which ruled to allow courts to look into cases related to citizenships. The reason behind this step could be because the government had previously obtained a verdict from the same court in a different case which indicated that the judiciary does not have the authority to look into citizenship related cases, sources said.
