The 65-year-old fash­ion de­signer - who founded his epony­mous la­bel in 1985 - has ad­mit­ted he loves noth­ing more than get­ting into the Christ­mas spirit, and has re­vealed his “fa­vorite mem­o­ries” are spend­ing qual­ity time with his wife Dee Ocleppo and chil­dren Ally Hil­figer, Richard Hil­figer, El­iz­a­beth Hil­figer, Se­bas­tian Thomas Hil­figer and Kath­leen Hil­figer over the fes­tive sea­son. The cre­ative mas­ter­mind said: “I love fes­tive tra­di­tions and some of my fa­vorite mem­o­ries are from hol­i­days spent with my whole fam­ily.” And Tommy, who re­cently un­veiled the Tommy Hil­figer Au­tumn/Win­ter 2016 cam­paign for the fash­ion house, which stars brand am­bas­sador Gigi Ha­did and was pho­tographed Gre­gory Har­ris, has ad­mit­ted the cat­walk icon has brought “fes­tive spirit to life” in the com­mer­cial. Speak­ing to the Hol­ly­woodLife.com about the Hil­figer Hol­i­day Voy­age Christ­mas ad­vert, which sees the blonde beauty adorn a metal­lic em­bel­lished t-shirt dress, and a navy blue se­quin long-sleeved crop top with a co­or­di­nat­ing maxi skirt, Tommy said: “This sea­son, our global am­bas­sador Gigi Ha­did re­ally brings the fes­tive spirit to life - her look is ef­fort­lessly glam­orous with a re­laxed twist. From em­bel­lished evening­wear to ev­ery­day es­sen­tials, our sig­na­ture hol­i­day style is all about cel­e­brat­ing the sea­son with an el­e­gant, play­ful edge.” Mean­while, Tommy has re­vealed the 21-year-old fash­ion icon is “the epit­ome” of the Tommy Girl. Speak­ing pre­vi­ously about Gigi - who was an­nounced as the am­bas­sador for Tommy Hil­figer in 2015 - Tommy said: “She has great per­sonal style com­ing from South­ern Cal­i­for­nia, grow­ing up in Mal­ibu, go­ing to school in Mal­ibu, be­ing very sporty and ath­letic and Al­lAmer­i­can with an ex­otic twist. I thought, ‘This is the epit­ome of the Tommy Girl.’“And the cat­walk icon is honored to be a part of the de­signer la­bel and de­sign her own cap­sule for the fash­ion house ti­tled Tommy x Gigi be­cause she has been a fan of the gar­ments ever since a young age. Gigi - who has re­cently starred in the brands lat­est fra­grance cam­paign for The Girl per­fume - said: “It’s a dream come true - I’ve been a fan of Tommy all my life. So thrilled Tommy ap­proached me to col­lab­o­rate.”
