Amir to honor SAIA winners tomorrow
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah will patronize a special ceremony to honor the winners of the Salem Al-Ali Informatics Award (SAIA). The event takes place tomorrow starting from 10:00 am at Bayan Palace, said Sheikha Ayeda Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, SAIA’s head of board of trustees. SAIA is being held for the 16th year in a row this year, and during this time the award has contributed to enriching technological projects throughout the Arab world, Sheikha Ayeda added. She further indicated that the informatics accolade will be granted during the ceremony to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
